Benjamin Nathan is the Associate Director of Security and Identity Management in the Information Technologies and Services Department at Weill Cornell Medical College (WCMC)in New York City. Ben and his team work to identify, correlate, and respond to security incidents on the WCMC network using a variety of tools, including Arbor Peak Flow X, Source fire Intrusion Detection, Tripwire, PGP Encryption, and Arcsight ESM. Ben is also responsible for policy creation, security compliance (including HIPAA), forensics, and incident response. Ben previously served as the Security Compliance Manager for WCMC and as a Senior Server and Application Manager.
