ABSTRACT:
The combined benefits of the ExaGrid system and the CA ARCserve solution are high performance backup and restoration with integrated backup to disk technology. The solution includes built-in world-class antivirus and encryption features. ExaGrid systems provide unique byte-level data deduplication, a compression technology necessary to do an efficient job of backing up to disk. Eliminating tape backups eliminates the cost of tracking tape media and reduces the backup window. CA is thrilled to partner with ExaGrid to bring this technology to the public, in a fashion that is scalable and very easy to deploy.
